Meet Elle
I’m a Connecticut-based writer and editor interested in stories that spark curiosity and offer a fresh perspective.
I currently serve as the editor of On the Shoreline, a lifestyle magazine covering eastern Connecticut, where I write stories, shape editorial direction and work closely with contributors, photographers and designers throughout each issue. I especially enjoy taking an idea from the page to a finished piece that has something meaningful to say and is enjoyable to read.
I’m drawn to the details that give a story its character—the longtime local business with a history worth preserving, the artist making something remarkable or the community tradition that has become part of the fabric of a town. Whether I’m writing a feature story or a shorter piece, I want the writing to be clear, informative and thought-provoking.
Before moving into editorial work, I developed a background in communications and marketing, giving me an appreciation for both the creative and practical sides of producing content. Today, I bring that experience to every story, from the first interview through editing and fact-checking to the finished pages.
This portfolio is a collection of my published work—including magazine features, profiles, food and lifestyle stories, editorial pieces and other projects. I hope it gives you a sense not only of what I write about, but how I approach a story.
